“Your core values are the deeply held beliefs that
authentically describe your soul.”
~ John C. Maxwell

Do you know how to discover your core values? I was at a workshop recently and a presentation about leadership values was on the agenda. It was really interesting and enlightening.
What brings you satisfaction?
Write a list of all the things that bring you satisfaction, happiness and joy. I’ll be over here, jotting down just a few of mine, so take your time.

Do more of what you love and less of what you don’t…
To live a life that aligns with your core values, simply do more of the things that bring you happiness and satisfaction. And to take this a step further, you can also write down a list of things that create unease in your life. If these things don’t align with your values, you can just simply not do them.
Another fu*#ing opportunity for growth…
If the things on this list are events, people, tasks you avoid because they make you feel uncomfortable, well, you may want to take a second look. This could be yet another fu*#ing opportunity for growth! I know a coach that can help you with that!
My name is Nancy McKay and typically women work with me because of my experience overcoming major life challenges like getting sober and surviving ovarian cancer. I love my life now and I'm privileged to help my clients conquer their fears and figure out what to do next, so they can love their life too.
